The Scavezzon brothers: Andrea, Martino and Emilio
How did you discover cycling?
The first who fell in love with the bicycle was Andrea when, as an adolescent, began to ride road bikes on a team not only as sport but as an authorized escape from home. Reaching places so far away with just his legs made him understand immediately how free a bike can make you feel. From there, this feeling of being "grown up" and "infected" Martino and Emilio too.
After MTB was born, they started to rediscover places they already loved in Dolomites, Monte Grappa, Colli Euganei and more in this new exciting, way. At that time, in Italy, not everyone had understood what a phenomenon mountain biking would become.
How long has Scavezzon been in business?
The shop has been in business since 1985.
What is the mission statement for of your shop?
Our mission is to make people know how important a good bike is - for commute, for travel, for sports. That's why we're happy to let people try the bikes they dream about.
What makes your shop different than others?
The main difference is in the variety of bikes people can find here: Steel, carbon, folding, cargo, push, trailer and whatever else is interesting and functional.
Why did you choose to carry Ritchey products?
The shop was born with MTB, so Ritchey is legend for us. We couldn't not choose that.
What is your favorite ritchey product?
Hard to say but we tried to make a choice: Andrea is for the unstoppable Ascent, Martino loves the versatile Outback, and Emilio is a fan of the fun Ultra.
