What are the names of the owner of your shop?
The Scavezzon brothers: Andrea, Martino, and Emilio

How did you discover cycling?
The first one to fall in love with the bicycle was Andrea when, as an adolescent, he began to ride road bikes on a team — not only for sport but as an authorized escape from home. Reaching destinations so far away with just his legs made him understand immediately how freeing a bike can make you feel. From there, he had this feeling of being "grown up," which "infected" Martino and Emilio as well.

After mountain biking was born, they started to rediscover places they already loved in the Dolomites, Monte Grappa, Colli Euganei and more in this exciting new way. In Italy at that time, not everyone understood what a phenomenon mountain biking would become.

How long has Scavezzon been in business?
The shop has been in business since 1985.

What is the mission statement for of your shop?
Our mission is to make people know how important a good bike is...for commuting, traveling, or for sport. That's why we're happy to let people test the bikes that they dream about.

What makes your shop different than others?
The main difference is the variety of bikes people can find here: steel, carbon fiber; folding; cargo; push; trailer; and whatever else is interesting and functional.

Why did you choose to carry Ritchey products?
The shop was born through mountain biking, so Ritchey is legendary for us. We couldn't not choose Ritchey.

What is your favorite Ritchey product?
Hard to say but we'll try to choose. Andrea is for the unstoppable Ascent; Martino loves the versatile Outback; and Emilio is a fan of the fun Ultra.
