NAHBS 2019 Bike Check with MARS Cycles
North American Handmade Bicycle Show is a treat we get to participate in every year by working with our partners in the custom builder community. This year we featured 4 different custom steel bike builders in our booth, each with a different take on our individual lines from WCS gravel to Classic. Casey Sussman has a fresh take on a unique fillet brazed BreakAway with full classic.
Ritchey Classic is more than just an accent piece to tie the aesthetic together for that certain build. The Classic line falls between the race proven performance of WCS and price conscious Comp levels. Utilizing the best of both lines, Classic offers a lightweight high quality build that only Ritchey can offer.
Builder Casey Sussman, of MARS Cycles, has used our Break-Away coupling system to create a unique take on a classy bike that’s as comfortable abroad as it is at home. Built around a Ritchey WCS carbon road fork, his bike is capable of high-volume tires that all-road riders crave. Using a full Classic build, his Break-Away road bike is accented with robust 30c WCS Alpine JB tires, sleek WCS Streem saddle and WCS Race bar tape.
